Hi All,

We really encourage pictures here. They are worth more than a 1,000 words and make it much easier to understand and absorb what's being communicated.

When you upload pictures to your post as attachments, please make sure they are not too big, so we can seem them well on line, with these simple steps:

Images are very easy to resize:

- Just open the image in Microsoft Paint (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint)

- Click Resize from Paint's options, select Pixels and enter in 1000 for the width. The Height should adjust proportionally.

- Save your picture with a new file name.

- Upload the new file image (by clicking on the Manage Attachments link and selecting the file) when you type your post.

That winds up with a niced sized, on line image.

Thanks for your cooperation! We are looking forward to seeing your projects!

Still not sure how to attach pics.  Do I have to upload them to some other site first?

Where is the "manage attachments" link you mention located?

Scott,
I have uploaded a profile picture but it doesn't appear when I look at my posts. Are they normally not shown to the person posting or did I do something wrong?

Bill, There is a profile picture that shows up when you look at a profile, (there is a link in the control panel to see your profile as others do).  Then there's an avatar photo that shows up next to your post.  You could use the same one but the avatar are small and harder to see.
