Rain-X has a new product out that beads water like original Rain-X, but is safe for use on plastics. YouTube has a few user reviews that like the product. I bought a 12oz. spray bottle from Amazon for less than $8. Should help keep the polycarbonate glazing cleaner and perhaps help it shed snow and frost easier too.

Didn't know the original stuff wasn't. I'v never used it since it nearly killed me one day. The rain beaded up on the windshield and the wipers couldn't clear it, I couldn't see.

It might work well on collectors, though.

Greg,
Might be a good idea to only test a small area first (side by side test) or in case there are any negative effects.  Or test a scrap piece of twinwall from an old collector.  Let us know how it works out.
