Apparently tenKsolar has gone under, but they had a spectrum specific reflector to reflect only usable wavelength light. I know a guy who invested in an array and battery backup system from them, he has had problems, but the reflector idea seems like it could have possibilities. That simply means that a lot of usable light is reflected from the solar cells.

The tenKsolar reflectors reflect direct sunlite to the PV panels, they have nothing to do with lite reflected from the PV panels. Doug

Sure some usable light is reflected from the solar cells and some from the glass. Coatings and other treatments such as textured glass reduce it somewhat. Mechanical trackers increase daily harvest by up to 40%... But because of cost and maintenance they've fallen out of favor. It's cheaper to simply install more panels. It's all about the money. How much are you willing to pay for a few % gain?
