Hi everyone
I have a small solar set up that works great. It was my first attempt at building a set up
and I kept everything 12 volt for the sake of keeping it simple. But I'm going to be
adding some panels and I have a question concerning wiring.

I know if two batteries are wired in series that the output would be 24 volts.
But what about the amps? Would the amps stay at what one of the batteries
normally would be?

And I know if two batteries are wired in parallel the voltage stays at 12 volts.
 But does the amps double?

Amps "available" will double, though actual amps drawn is dependent on load. Given the same load, run time will double.
Solar is like the wind. It may be free, but putting it to work isn't!
