Ok got a short test reply, now testing with a long text someone else do it to see if all the text comes through or just a little,

Brainstorming and building solar projects is fun! There are many solar projects that are easy and inexpensive to build, solar is great for the environment and saves you money too. It makes great common sense to take advantage of the clean, free heat that the sun provides every day.

Even if you start small, building solar projects is very worthwhile. Every BTU of heat that you generate by solar is one less BTU you'll have to pay for. Your furnace or water heater will run less, your energy bills will decrease and you'll be a better steward with our precious planet!

But the best part is, this is a really fun hobby! There's nothing quite like the thrill of feeling free hot air blowing out of your solar collector across your hands, heating your home or taking a nice, hot shower with water heated by your project!

Simply Solar is about brainstorming and sharing ways to implement solar heat easily, that anyone, regardless of DIY ability, can use to put money back in their pockets, green back in the environment and have a lot of fun along the way!

Finding and sharing ways to make solar easy, practical, inexpensive and fun for everyone is what we are all about! If this excites you, please join our forum!

In just 52 months, our SimplySolar e-mail group grew from inception to nearly 2,500 members! I'm thrilled that folks were continuing to enjoy the group and find it useful, I love all the brainstorming, new ideas and enthusiasm.

It's all awesome, but we've outgrown the e-mail format! The great news is that we now have our own solar forum where content is much better organized, topics are easier to find and since you can choose which topics to follow, you can control e-mail volume.

I assume ever one is getting e-mail notifications for follow up posts.  I'm curious, did you also get a notification of your initial post?

One more neat thing that never could be done on the old site is the fact that you can edit or delete your own post.  Edit is great for after you check it three times and post.... then see the spelling error.
Or you may find you posted the wrong picture or it is way too big, just click edit, and if needed, more options to get to the photos, uncheck the current photo and add the new one.
Or if you really said something you regretted, or just feel it's wrong or no longer valid, just delete it.
Obviously you can go back to a post and add more photos as the project moves along.
