I don't know which strings are connected to which inverter nor what the panel specs are.

We cannot be sure the last page is the the system configuration and not a generic sheet.

Need to find someone locally to check it out.

Maybe, maybe not, If Jose can get the need information posted, I may be able to figure it out and he may be able to make the corrections.

Yup.  At this stage we can't really be sure of much at all.

It LOOKS like this panel, though I can't be positive.
http://realgoods.com/downloads/dl/file/id/543/canadian_solar_cs6p_series_data_sheet.pdf

Anyway it's a 60cell panel from the photos, which gives you about 30v.  8800w/34 panels = 259w/panel. So regardless of who makes them we have panels which put out roughly 260w at roughly 30v.  260w/30v=8.7amps.  Close enough for most cases.

Using the specs of the panel in the link, one 13 panel string should put out about 395vmp @ 8.56 a.   Voc would be 488v and Isc 9.1a.  This is well within limits.

However if those other 8 panels are connected in series with the first 13 (Strings 2,3,&4), the Vmp is 638v, Voc 787v, both of which are beyond the 600v limit.  This could be a problem.

I still haven't been able to determine which strings are connected to which MPPT channel of the inverter, so this could be wrong.

I would be tempted to disconnect the two 4 panel strings and see what happened.

Thanks everybody for your replies. I'll send you more information when I get the office to find out the most likely cause.

Regards and I really appreciate your comments,

Jose
