Hello everyone. This is my first post here and let me present my setup first:

- 12 panels of 250w each, 8 of them serving the backup system and 4 only for the pool pump
- The 8 panels are in 2 strings of 4
- 12 Trojan 105 batteries of 6V/225Ah
- The system is setup for 24 volts
- 3600W Pure sine inverter
- 80A solar charge controller

As can be sent in the attached photos, the inverter says the batteries are 84% while the charge controller says Float. Displays are after a whole day without sun and we were running on batteries.

What does the 84% represent on the inverter ? Also the inverter always shows the load at 0 watts no matter the load.

Thanks,
Alex

Your charge controller needs to be set for the T105 charging voltages.

T105 charging Voltages:
Bulk Charge 7.41 * 4 = 29.64 V
Float Charge 6.75 * 4 = 27.00 V
Equalize Charge 8.10 * 4 = 32.40 V

Inverter needs to be matched to the T105s.

T105 State of Charge open circuit voltages:
100% 6.37V * 4 = 25.48V
  90% 6.31V * 4 = 25.24V
  80% 6.25V * 4 = 25.00V
  70% 6.19V * 4 = 24.76V
  60% 6.12V * 4 = 24.48V
  50% 6.05V * 4 = 24.20V
  40% 5.98V * 4 = 23.92V
  30% 5.91V * 4 = 23.64V
  20% 5.83V * 4 = 23.32V
  10% 5.75V * 4 = 23.00V

Thanks Rick. I'll try that. While the MPPT Charge controller is very customizable, the inverter is kind of having some awkward menus that I don't understand.

Inverter: Wave Inverter/Charger SWE3624C2
Charge controller: Wave Power Systems WM-80MPPT (looks like a copy of an Outback even within its menus and options).
I attached the manuals I could find online.

Merry Christmas,
Alex

The charge controller maybe a rebranded Outback.  The inverter/charger is designed for use as backup power for grid based applications.  You may never be able to get the two to agree. Get the WM-80MPPT setup correctly and learn to live with any disagreements.
