I would love to create a miniature PV system for my model railroad. I am thinking of using 2-4 micro solar cells (se links below), connected in series on a model house, charging a mini battery during the day and giving electricity to a mini LED-lamp when it is dark.

Does anyone here know how many PV cells I need, what battery and lamp I should use, and if I need anything else?

I think I'd go to Walmart and pick up a solar yard/garden light, and carefully take it apart. For a buck or two you'll have all the necessary components.
