See this giant speaker on the side of my house?

It's my first attempt at a cover for my solar collector.  My wife cringed and I started to see what she meant.

I replace the fabric with 1/4 painted plywood and all was good.

Can't hear my classic rock out in the yard anymore though.  [smile]

Funny...   Cinefoil woofers don't work very well and classic rock sounds better in stereo.

I have always thought that siding that matches the house would make the cover blend in the best.  Haven't seen anyone do that yet.

Faux-brick and it would look like a chimney.

LOL

Before I retired I installed aluminum and vinyl  siding,  aluminum trim, gutters windows etc.

If I ever have the money to side the house I will match the collector to it.
