Even though trackers are not used much anymore due to PV panels being so cheap this is kinda neat.

While quite an accomplishment for a teenager, I'm not sure it's new. I'm guessing she has built a database from NOAA info to position the panels where the sun should be at any given date and time. IIRC the guy from now defunct GreenandGold Energy had done the same thing several years ago so his SunCubes could track the sun.
