I'm kind of new have built 2 different water heaters.One out of copper one out of cpvc.My question if I can keep the water circulating on the cpvc.How long will it last?

I could not tell you. I do know that copper pipe in homes will last decades. I think it would be cool to have a small solar powered circulating pump to circulate the water continuously thru your holding tank!

It would be 'cool' but I'm not sure it would work. In summer your collector will keep collecting heat and eventually your storage tank may overheat as well as the collector. You will need a way of getting rid of excess heat. Maybe something like a car radiator.

If the CPVC is out of the sun and not exposed to temperatures in excess of it's rating, it can last indefinitely. Sundug
