I just lay out mylar emergency blankets in front of my panel. I get a pack of 10 for about $5 on Amazon. I use two at a time and have to replace them after a major wind storm. Usually use about 5 of them a season. I've posted results on here showing they increase my panel efficiency by up to 40%. Certainly worth spending $5 a year on. I just hold the blankets down with bricks.

mclark999,
Was your collector mounted vertical or at some angle toward the sun?

Jim,
There is a picture of mclark999's collector and reflector here:

Do a Search for "reflector" to see what others have done with reflectors.  They work best for for vertically mounted collectors.  When the collector is angled, the reflector also has to be angled more when the sun is higher in the sky.
